The International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS), International Living Donor Liver Transplantation Study Group (iLDLT), and The Liver Transplant Society of India (LTSI) will be jointly conducting the ILTS-iLDLT-LTSI 2023 Consensus Conference on Prediction and Management of Small for Size Syndrome in Living Donor Liver Transplantation (LDLT) on 27th Jan 2023 in Chennai, India

This is the largest such meeting on the topic and involves three liver transplant societies and over 75 experts from across the world in the field of liver transplantation. The Consensus Conference will focus on the newest research on the Prediction and Management of Small for Size Syndrome in LDLT, including the incidence, definitions, clinical factors and biomarkers of SFSS, donor and recipient factors that increase the risk of SFSS, and how to optimize these factors to reduce its incidence, perioperative considerations in the management of a patient with SFSG, and the management of established SFSS.
