New date for the 4th Congress!
The 4th International Congress of Living Donor Liver Transplantation Study Group will be held at the Buddha Museum in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in the conference hall situated right under the world’s tallest bronze sitting Buddha. The Buddha Museum also served as the venue for the Asian Summit on Living Donor Liver Transplantation (Formerly 5 Asian LDLT Center Meeting) in 2013.
The Congress was initially set to take place on December 7, (Saturday) 2019 at the Buddha Museum in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. However, some participating centers will have their own activities on this date.
During the LDLT Study Group Colloquium in Kazakhstan, it was decided to move the 4th Congress 2 months later to February 8-9 (Saturday-Sunday), 2020 to coincide with the Lantern Festival celebrated in the Buddha Museum. During that time, this already beautiful place becomes even more spectacular and we would like to offer our faculty and participants a chance to experience this festive event and share our cultural intricacies.
Fireworks, laser light shows and cultural dances are only some of the activities that comprise this month long celebration of the Lunar New Year.
